ironically enough that crash video was from test of a fire-less air craft fuel.

yah i saw that show also somewhere

wasn't fire less but was say atomize less

in other words, the fuel had an additive that kept it from atomizing into a fine mist which drastically reduces the size and spread of the fuel burning.

(keeps it in larger drops instead of a mist which would burn more intense and spread more)

yeah same the flash point for it was higher or something, it's been around for ages but costs more. Some talk about it being added to the ticket price.. it's just an additive.

Exactly... they were testing that shit in the 80's. Had something to do with a gel that went in the JP4 jet fuel mix. This was the plane without the additive.....

I was on a 737 that almost crashed. The engine blew up and caught fire. Half of it fell off the plane and the place was shaking so bad all the luggage in the overhead bins fell out. We had to make an emergency landing. Damn you Delta

Yea but I still think I would rather be in a crash like that than being 30,000 feet in the air and something like a wing breaking off and nose diving to the ground. To much time to know whats going on.

Plane crash simulator is a very good way for those pilots to experience such accident. In that way they would really study hard how to fly the plane safely.
