Probably at least once a day I am asked by someone to provide the name of a designer, content provider, TGP submitter, traffic provider or some other service, and I willingly do this, because that is what friends are for.

Yesterday I was asked to provide some leads for some design work. I provided a few, and two or three were given the oportunity to get some business.

After he decided which content providers he wanted to use I gave him their ICQ numbers, and he went to initiate contact and seal the deal. There was a little problem though.

One of these designers thought it would be funny to put in his ICQ profile that he was 15 years old.

Now, he may have thought it was pretty funny, but it almost cost him some business.

One should remember, you are dealing with businessmen here, and should try to maintain some semblance of professionalism.
