OK, my friend and I have been having this debate and I wanted to get other people's thoughts

I think being drunk just gives you the courage to say and do what you really want to do. It takes the "overthinking" out of you, and you go with your true, gut instincts. I am rarely ashamed of my drunken actions, because I know it's just me + courage

My friend says that overthinking is part of who he is, and if that aspect is taken away from him when he's drunk, he is then not as much himself as when he is sober.

I hate people who have to start trouble, and pick fights....

Assholes like that shouldn't be allowed to drink!!

When I am pissed I am jus the same person and never cause any kind of trouble, I talk a bit more but hey so does all my mates so thats ok

If done sensibly then its great!!!!

Right, maybe someone you would like to be. But my friend was using this logic as a reason that drinking is bad and he should stop doing it. He thinks it is him, only more diabolical

I think it depends on the situation and the reason for drinking...
if you're drinking casually with friends or in celebration of something or cuz it's the weekend or something.... your mood will be good. If you're drinking because your wife just left you.... you're probably not gonna be a happy drunk person.

Hey dude your fucking this up for us guys. When we get drunk that does not reflect our wishes nor reflect our intentions. Being drunk makes all actions excusable for men.

Its like when your drunk and about to go pee then some girl falls on your pecker cuz she is also drunk thats not really the guy wanting that girl on him he is DRUNK and perfectly okay

I get happier and sillier but I also get more emotional. Usually this just leads to more happiness/silliness. Once upon a time when I would drink to try and relax or forget I'd tend to end up depressed or pissed off. I was always alone though so I just went to sleep and the next day tried to forget about it. So nice to be in a place in my life where I don't drink unless I'm in a good mood, and then never as much now as I used to.

i tend to get really horny at first, then i think things are funny, then i get angry about something and cry.. at least when i'm with my bf. or else i just fall asleep. usually i don't drink when i'm already really tired because i just fall asleep and essentially waste the liquor.

The second nite it started when he bumped into me (from behind) and then started yelling that I had hit him. When I turned around and realized it was the same jackass from the nite before I decided that I would never send that idiot any business.
