I read 'em - they're quite good - but a word of warning, Anne Rice is a total perv, lol, there's some guy on guy action in the series. She also wrote a lolita-esque novel (the girl in it was 16) called Belinda which was pretty damn hot. She just doesn't give a shit - she writes about some extremely provocative and controversial topics.

Yeah I read that trilogy back when I was still pretty naive about various perversions. I was more in shock of the things that this author would actually "think up", not realizing that there are people out there who actually performed similar acts on a regular basis. The most vivid part I can recall of the book (I think it was the 2nd one?) was when she was having to crawl around the town square on hands and knees with nothing but a bridle in her mouth and a horse-tail phallus shoved in her ass like she was a friggin animal. I was so horrified I couldn't put the book down... haha!

The funny part is that at that time I was a HUGE Anne Rice fan, and at the time I read the Sleeping Beauty Trilogy I had no idea it was she who wrote them. The copies I have are under one of her pen names.

I like how it turned out that Sleeping Beauty actually decided that she enjoy'd being the submissive, incredible on the descriptions on how she would be a little insolent for the extra attention.
How Ann Rice tapped into the whole thing really is a wonder.

When the books came out I was really shocked it was Ann Rice that wrote them afterwards.

I had a girlfriend who read the series back in the late 80's early 90's. Yep... the horse tail up her ass is what I remember most of her telling me about. Thank god I don't read! :D
