H is not a very social drug. You get high and you feel like you're glowing. Some people I know call it getting "golden". Basically, it makes everything feel OK. When you get really high, you tend to nod out. That is you basically fall asleep but have very vivid dreams. You don't usually feel like hitting the club and partying, it's straight downtown.

It appeals to people that are depressed and/or are looking for something to take their problems away. You begin to develop a pysical addiction within a few days of straight use. After a week the withdrawl will be no fun at all and after a month you'll get very sick. In extreme cases withdrawl has been known to kill. The kicker is, if you're already an unhappy person, going through withdrawl is hell. Especially because you know you can make it go away (make anything go away) and all you have to do is get high.

Many, many years ago I did it a little bit. Usually after doing way too much cocaine and looking for a way to come down. You don't want to be doing Heroin, trsut me on that one.

Apart from the devistating effects of the drug itself......remember...Heroïn
is the terrorist's gold....money made by this drug is funding terrorists all over
the world....it's their MAIN source of income and used to finance terror attacks
all over the globe....

On the radio last night : apparently herion gets called smack because of the jewish drug dealers in the early half of last century who used to call it "schmeck"(sp) which was yiddish for "to snort" or something? I used to think it was either the smacking of your arm to find veins or how hard it hits you. Interesting tidbit.

Originally produced in 1874, it was thought to be not only nonaddictive but useful as a cure for respiratory illness and morphine addiction, and capable of relieving morphine withdrawal symptoms. Withdrawal symptoms include panic, nausea, muscle cramps, chills, and insomnia.

With this effects and addiction... no I wouldnt risk my body with this... Besides the danger of overdose, addicts are susceptible to malnutrition, hepatitis, pneumonia, and AIDS.

I love experimenting on various things but definitely not that one.
