Liars, scammers, bullshitters, multiple nicks. They retards dont deserve one click. Its a sad thing people help them making money.

Question: Why make a thread asking for an opinion on a company, get tons of negative replies, then go ahead and sign up?

nina, when i first spoke to simon a year and a half ago about shooting models when he was selling them, he was an arrogant piece of shit then too. he also went on to sandbag other competitors back then..

this has nothing to do with stress. it wasnt stress that caused him to delete affiliate accounts after they stop sending traffic. it wasn't stress that got all our brand names in his meta tags and on his sites for search engine traffic. it wasn't stress when he thought he was bigger than lightspeed. it wasn't stress when he was shit-talking his competitors.

you know what it was.. arrogance, lack of respect, dishonesty, and a slew of other qualities one should never possess owning an affiliate program - i can go on all day. there is no back peddling..

Doc911 09-19-2005 08:51 PM

damn this is some harsh stuff.

Tam 09-19-2005 09:04 PM

Well I don't know about anything else, as in what has been done to other people or anything like that, but I DO know that Simon's rep was a little sketchy to me at first, and I didn't much care for his business tactics, but you know what? I am really bad about having to go digging into things I don't understand and this is what happened.

I have been talking to this guy on and off for a few weeks and I have to tell you, while he may not be the nicest guy on the planet on this board, and he may not play inside the box like some do, he has done NOTHING but be nice to me on ICQ. He and I have talked quite a lot and you know me, I don't talk to people who wanna snow me or are full of shit.

Simon is what he is and if you don't like it then you won't want to work with him, but one thing I CAN tell you, he is passionate about what he does and he has been awesome to help me with some things I am working on in this niche. AND, the sites ARE converting for me.... so I'd say, when it comes down to it, let him be an ass, don't like him, that's fine. but how many of you like everything about everyone, I mean, be real.

He is business, and sometimes that's not popular, you know? You don't get to the top by being a nice guy, this much I DO know, and I have met many that are way more shrewd than he'll ever be.

So make up your own mind, don't let someone make it up for you. YOU promote it and YOU see if you like the way the sites convert. He can't NOT pay you, CCBill does that. :)

Tam 09-19-2005 09:09 PM

And for the record? I have had an account for MONTHS and JUST put links up over the weekend, and my account is still active, without even so much as one hit to them. lol

don't you work with simon directly? you are his partner or something, left 2 very good guys mike and norm to work with him, and in the process took ambersass.com and turned it into a site of your own with literally the same name - nice move. Like a middle of the night move to then send them legal paperwork to remove the site, without no notice. And anyone who has met Mike and Norm knows they are two of the nicest guys around.

i have heard some nice stories about you too, something about stealing content, and when it was brought to your attention, you acted nice and professional, by personally insulting the person who brought it to your attention whose content you were stealing.. that person is pretty reputable too who told me that story.

congrats, you got one person to post something good and backed it up.. its obvious the type of corporate culture you guys back up over there. people had a lot to say about you guys in miami, and it wasn't just one person, but many.

initial sales are decent, rebills are virtually non-existant
