One way is to call your bank and get it, another, much faster way is to look at the very bottom of your checks and get the first 8 numbers that are down at the bottom left of the checks you write.

If you have a checking account look at the first set of numbers at the bottom of your checks.
Usually it is followed by your account number and then the check number. |

If I want my $$$ direct to my account, it has to go through the partner bank in the USA. Usually I'd give the sponsor my account number, but all the other details would match up to the parnter bank. I'd check with your bank in Toronto as to whether you should quote the Canadian info or the American info when you want to receive telegraphic transfers in American dollars from a sponsor in the USA.

Try the middle section. Routing numbers are always 8 or 9 numbers. In the US, we don't worry about an institution #. In that example, the routing # would be 85432884.

Yep...... ours in the USA are the first set of numbers, on my Bank it is 8 numbers, and then the check number is next set and then the last set is the account number. But on that one you have it is the middle section.
