Paul Mcartney Concert

I just got back from the beginning of his tour in Miami. That guy is a machine for being 63.

He never once took a break or took even a drink of water and the guy must of sang close to 25 songs, New stuff and alot of the Old Beatles stuff.

Yellow Submarine.
Yesterday
Sunshine
Penny Lane

and many more.. Excellent concert.

Yeah, great concert.

His vocals were amazing. The blackbird mess-up/save was awesome. One strange thing was he played "Too many people" - A John attack record, and also didn't play any John-homage songs. I was expecting a sappy 'Strawberry fields forever' rendition. Oh well, nevertheless, amazing on-going performance.

I saw him in the mid 90's and it was a great show plus it was mixed with watching my mother act like a teenager a bit.

My Dad pointed out that at that concert atleast he didn't play a single song he didn't write and they were all classsics.

Big Beatles/Paul fan here too, hence my user name. Although my favorite Beatle is still John.

I've never heard Paul play any John songs ever. I honestly don't think the fans would like it anyway. I honestly can't imagine his voice on 'Strawberry.' After 30+ years, he only just played "Getting Better" live for the first time on his last tour. I think maybe the same for a few other tunes as well. Never heard "Too Many People" before.

Next to John Lennon, he's my most admired artist; third is Elton John of course.
