Jettis affiliate software supports tangible products. Commissions may be set as a % of the total amount sold, as a flat rate which you predetermine, on a residual basis or on a per click basis. In response to the "how tangible" question, Jettis affiliate software allows you to set the commission rules. So if you're selling books, widgets, memberships.....shouldn't matter. You set the rules as you see fit.
