I know a pretty lady who is 43, yet still looks in her early 20's that gets carded all the time in upstate NY. She says she just smiles and hands em her ID lol

Is she hot? If so, that's why.
It may not be common knowledge among men, but bartenders, bouncers, etc. often ask to see a woman's ID even when it's clear she's of age to either:
1) Show his authority (they read somewhere that women like men in control) or
2) A cheap way to get a name (typically followed up with a stern "okay", see point #1)
I was 18 buying beer without being carded. I didn't get carded until the day of my 21st birthday. Same guy I always bought it from. The only reason I was carded was because his boss was standing right behind him. He looked up and just shook his head and said, "Happy Birthday!".

I can't think of anything more complimenting for a woman than to be carded at 43

I'm sorry I can't live up to you "coolness" oh great J with the big dollar sign in your name.
I always get carded. What I find EXTREMELY OFFENSIVE is that one time I went to get some fish tacos at Rubios and the guy gave me change and he said "Here you go YOUNG LADY". It is EXTREMELY offensive and not complimentary at ALL because I am 27 and almost 30. That is hardly considered still young enough to be addressed that way. For some reason I guess I look real young and could pass for even 17 or 18 probably so that is probably why.
But I still find it offensive, I feel as if I don't get treated with enough respect. I also HATE it when people address me by "miss". I also find it offensive because lots of people my age are married. They are ASSUMING just by lookin at me that I am young and unmarried. And that is very offensive. I am a customer and paying for a service, and I demand to be treated with respect. I don't need someone addressing me by "young lady", it is VERY patronizing and codescending, as if they THINK they have authority over me. Well they are the ones who are SERVICING me, so I get serious PISSED off when I get talked to that way. Next time I will file a complaint. I hate to be patronized when I am a PAYING CUSTOMER, they should be servicing me, not pissing me off by patronizing me and assuming things about me.

And fuck that about men bartenders doing that to get authority. I am a CUSTOMER and they are supposed to work to make ME happy, not the other way around. Fuck them and their power trip. Next time some bozo does that I'll be sure to get his name and file a complaint with the manager. That is just bullshit.
