Went to the cottage last weekend and this was on the wall of the room I was sleeping in. Cottage furniture and all was really old and vintage. Crazy place.

So this is what I read. Text comes from wayy back. I think this dude was on the ball for hit time.

Desiderata

Go placidly amid the noise and the haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.

As far as possible, without surrender,

But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
