What Is Michael Moore's Real Vendetta

Comments are always welcome!

Personally I think we should send Michael Moore to do some real time Amateur footage and leave the rest up to us.

Michael Moore is just sitting and ringing his sweaty socialist hands waiting for more American blood to be spilled. Without out it he wouldnt have to reason to be heard or a platform to speak it from.

Vendetta, I don't know. Motive is money though. He makes money off of other people's misery. If it was genuine concern, he'd do it for free.

..well..

He tries to offer a different opinion and perspective from that of the main stream media and politicians. Dont accept blindly everything you are told. He'd probably say that (reluctantly!) about his own stuff! Find out for yourself, form your own opinion, dont take the easy route and rehash someone elses narrow opinion, look at all the angles.

Any Journalist can be accused of making money off others misery. Look at those war correspondents or those reporting about famine. They get paid to do that.

I.

Corporate greed and corruption seems to be the main theme of his work.

Moore is filling a void the US press corp has left vacant.

Asking tough questions of the administration.

Did you see Bill Mahar talking to Anderson Cooper in New Orleans?

A lot of documentaries are nonprofit. He's making an excessive amount of money by exposing things that directly or indirectly hurt others. Making movies is one thing, but making movies based on the vulnerabilities of other's is pure greed. He's not any better than all the phony, smile for the camera politicians. He just plays the sheep from the different angle.

Do you have any idea how much money he gives to charity? Conservatives always try and smear people who tell the truth. It'sjust in their blood i guess.

I'm sure Bush and his family have given a lot to charities as well. Doesn't make what he does right either.

I think his real "vendetta" is to reveal the truth... sure, some will say he's awesome at it and some will say he's not even close.

But I'm sure in his mind, he's doing just that.

BAAA BAAA BLAH...

F-9/11 sold nearly 3,000,000 copies... that's alot of "sheep". Or perhaps it means that many people want to see what goes on behind the scenes and behind closed doors. But after reading your posts, I now realize that "making money is evil" and I will stop making movies right this second.

But if you want to buy a limited-edition signed copy of F-9/11, let me know. My profit margin is much better on those.

I don't believe that NRA members want our kids to be shot in their schools. Republicans surely don't feel any better about the decline of the US auto industry than do Democrats. These days support for or opposition to our presence in Iraq seems to have more to do with age and gender than political affiliation. Poor diet and lack of exercise are killing Americans without regard to their political affiliation. And wouldn't we all wish to have reduced and dealt with faster, the effects of Katrina.

It is a sad sign of the times that so many Republican supporters feel they must automatically attack Michael Moore because he votes Democrat and so many Democrats take his messages on board with equal lack of discernment. Yet it apparently doesn't bother anyone on either side that little if anything is being done to actually address the issues that he highlights. And I don't care which part of the political spectrum you call home, your head is firmly planted in the sand if you believe everything is fine and dandy.

Wow... you take your politics seriously. Why don't you "cool off" a little and be laid-back about it like I am.

Apologies for not reading every post in it's entirety. I write this because I'm not sure it's been addressed. Don't believe everything you see or hear. Yes, Michael Moore is a movie maker, nothing more.

In my opinion a documentarian captures life and situations as they are, they don't stage situations or events to get a desired reaction. They observe and are much like a fly on the wall of life if they are a real documentarian.

Michael Moore is nothing more than a sensationalist who's tapped into a hair trigger nerve in each of us.

The guns in the bank in Bowling for Columbine was staged and inaccurate. The truth of the situation is real, he did get the gun in the bank. However, any ordinary customer wouldn't have had that same consideration.
