    As the holiday season approaches . . .

    I wonder, do people still send fruitcakes? I used to hate those things, and every year we had relatives that would send them to us.

    Anyone else get these bricks for Xmas?

          the only fruitcake I like is one my Mom makes

          you melt a whole bag of marshmallows and stir in a box of graham cracker crumbs, chopped pecans, raisins, or whatever you like

          put it in a buttered pan and refrigerate

          it's awesome, like candy

              I think my mom used to like them. If they had taken out those red and green "candies" it might have been edible.

                          I never understood this as a kid, they looked like barf, tasted like crap... always thought it would be a good gift for people you didn't like.
