Could movie goers please ...

... stop seeing the "delightfully charming yet sophisticated" romantic comedies staring John Cusak? The hope here is they stop making them.

Thanks in advance.

I'm a huge fan of John Cusak...I think he's a great actor. However in recent years he's working it hard to go "mainstream."

Ever see The Grifters? The Bull Jack...or yeah a "romantic comedy" Say Anything?

He has some good films under his belt..but he is making some goofy choices here lately.

Edited to add: The ultimate 80's classic Better Off Dead...fucking hilarious movie.

There was this John Cusack movie from the 80s that I really like but I damn forgot the title and I'm too lazy to search for it.

meh.. i'll watch anything with Cusack in it, he can carry all sorts of fluff.

I'll forgive a "serendipity" and "must love dogs" to pay the bills between "Being John Malkovich" 's and "High Fidelity" 's

I saw Must Love Dogs a couple of weeks ago... I thought it was very well written and I laughed my ass off through the entire movie.... and I'm not into comedy or chick flicks... I thought it was pretty well done... and I think Diane Lane is hot!
