Try to poor to leave. How about all the rich fucks that keep building huge houses on the carolina coast that gets hit every year. We keep rebuilding their houses, but you have no problem with that. Flood insurance hahahahahahah. Do you think they can actually buy flood insurance. The insurance companies probably don't even sell it in the area. God forbid anyone ever needs to collect from an insurance policy. Insurance is built on the premise that they are never gonna pay off. |

Crop Circles aren't real? Oh, damn... better leave that shit outta my next documentary. :error Of course they're not real, but look at the HAARP info and then research the official HAARP site. Anyone happen to catch the Discovery Channel's show last week: "Owning the Weather" - great HAARP expose. lots of connections to Oil/Gas industry, ARCO, US Military, Possible uses as a focused weapon, plus the HAARP "base" will double in size within next two years etc. the continued Ionosphere Tampering/Testing (focused ionospheric heating) could have dire results... with severe environmental impact. HAARP still claims to be a "civilian research project", yet it is run by the DoD. :helpme :1orglaugh |
Moore may get loose with facts and is a damn clever editor, but his shit is alweays good entertainment ;-)

Okay so Moore, if he does a film about Katrina, will - for example - surely point up the number of jobs filled as political thank-yous. And of course the truth is that if a Democrat were in the White House, things probably wouldn't be any different.
But instead of attacking Moore with such incisive rhetoric as "fat fuck", how about thinking for just a second? If you aren't in line for one of these appointments, whatever the consequences of putting unqualified people into important positions, you pay the price and get nothing back in return. Opposition to political patronage shouldn't even be a party issue! The point is that somehow over the last 20 or 30 years we have all been duped into believing that everything done in the name of our party must be defended at all costs and everything from the other side must automatically be attacked. That is bullsh*t which works in favor of no-one except politicos who are incompetent or venal. We don't strengthen our parties - and certainly not our country - by pretending problems don't exist, but by fixing them. |
sweet, nothing like alienating more people away from the dem party. :thumbsup

Nope, you are 100% incorrect and wrong. President Bush signed a Declaration 2 days BEFORE KATRINA hit releasing State and Local of power - and gave Feds the "lead in disaster efforts." You people should educate yourself a little, at least with the "timeline" before telling blatant lies to fuel your pro-Bush messages and agenda. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timelin...ricane_Katrina The FEDs were giving the lead in disaster efforts 2 days before it hit, you can shove your excuse up someone elses ass. Its nothing but spin. |
Saturday, August 27
President Bush declares a Federal state of emergency in Louisiana under the authority of the Stafford Act [10]. The emergency declaration provides for federal assistance and funding [11] and assigns to FEMA, by law, the responsibility for coordinating relief efforts Friday, September 2 * The Bush administration sent Gov. Blanco a proposed legal memorandum asking her to request a federal takeover of the evacuation of New Orleans. Louisiana officials rejected the request after talks throughout the night, concerned that such a move would be comparable to a federal declaration of martial law. [45] This matter may also have been discussed by Pres. Bush and Gov. Blanco in phone conversations or a meeting aboard Air Force One. Note, Feds had control on August 27, but did not do anything until when? Sept 3rd, and still used papers and signed contracts to make sure the State and Local had no authority over relief efforts. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timelin...ricane_Katrina if most of you would actually read it would help fuel honest and worthy debates, but until then most are just running off at the mouth. |

The PPV and OnDemand sales were nice too. btw, my Docu didn't help him win the election... he won it on his own: because of his great prowess, leadership skills and command of the english language. Americans don't switch horses mid-stream. We're fighting a war and he is the greatest... anywho... be sure to pick up my new limited-edition director's cut DVD of F-9/11, it comes with a free copy of Wag the Dog. I love that frickin' movie. :thumbsup . |

Houston-BASED Halliburton was tapped for the cleanup. Anyone else wonder why Houston was the first city to volunteer to take in tens of thousands of refugees? Hmmm.... Check out CNBC right now, discussing federal spending will be nearly $200 BILLION because of Katrina, analyzing which companies will benefit financially. |

President Bush said Tuesday that "I take responsibility" for failures in dealing with Hurricane Katrina and said the disaster raised broader questions about the government's ability to respond to natural disasters as well as terror attacks. another big hit on the box office :P

I would watch the Katrina flick. F9/11 was good. If just 10% of the shit is true in that film Americans should be pissed.
Is Cheney getting a kick back on the New Orleans rebuild too? |
