I love wine and we usually drink a nice bottle with Dinner, but one that i found from an ex froma few years ago that only cost's $10.00 but is very good is Vampire Wine, the Merlot has a fruity taste to it but is very good with a nice steak dinner, Try it out sometime. www.vampire.comComment

Big K Cola is nice, and only $4.50 for a 24 pack... its not white wine, but you can use the money you just saved and buy yourself something cooler than wine, like fireworks

Chardonnay is my favorite amongst the white wines. I like others that have a particular taste for a specific entree, but it's hard to go wrong with a nice Chardonnay when dining on seafood.
Here is a list of generally quite good Napa/Sonoma Chardonnay wineries ($12-40 price range):
ZD
Ferrari-Carano
Freemark Abby
Clos Pegase
Chateau St Jean
Benziger
In the $10 range, Kendall-Jackson, BV, and Hess Select are generally safe choices.
Pinot Grigio or Pinot Gris are also good with Crab, but you will have to be more selective on the vintner.
