Well adult and mainstream are two different ballgames. I came from the mainstream realm and do adult because it is often times easier.

I wouldn't say that all SEOs in adult aren't worth a lick. However, most SEOs who boast being great SEOs are usually pretty crappy. The guys that are good are too busy building sites, links, and making money. They aren't begging people for a few hundred bucks to "teach" them how to rank.

I'm in the same boat, but I'm still very much in mainstream SEO because I love the challange. I do adult SEO mainly just for fun because like you said its easy and a great way to make fast cash.

It was a shock when I got into adult. It's odd to make a post in the traffic forum and be able to get 20 relevant links to your site for whatever anchor text you want in a matter of hours.

In mainstream, 20 relevant links takes some time and money.
