LOL i think it is funny... a big time win over sweeded has only made it sweeter for us canadians when we kick BELARUS through the ground on friday, and and shit let us not froget that the Canadian women will be kicking the US womans ass today :-) I think the GREAT ONE said it right when he said....

"nobody wants us to win" the Olympics and spoke about "the BS" that his players had to endure since arriving in Salt Lake City. He talked about "conspiracies" to disrupt the Canadian dressing room and concluded by praising his players for the fact they were "still standing," as the medal round was about to begin.

FUck man, I've been reffing Hockey for 8 years now, and when I seen that cheap ass cross check, I jumped outta my seat and started yell at that fucking ref (LOL!)

it was 1 of the worst plays I've ever seen in Hockey ... right up there with Marty McSorly and Brashier ... fucking disgrace!

Gretzky is the man for saying the truth infront of the world... and at the very least, more aggressive, and much better hockey will come from it (within the olympics, I mean)

Ahhh, just when I think the whole world is filled with insane fools, a guy like Westin steps in and tells it like it is.

Good job too. Gretz knows what he's talking about, especially the part about everyone wanting the Canadians to lose. Then we've got the immense pressure from all of Canada itself. Mix that with the fact that the members of team Canada need a few games to get settled and used to some things and you've got the recipe for a guy like Gretzky stepping up and telling a few people to fucking smarten up.

I applaude him for having the balls to speak up.

And honestly, with such an overwhelming top lineup like team Canada has, do any of you really delude your clouded heads into thinking that on any given day they couldn't beat any other team in this tournament? If you think that you're dimented. Now let's do like JFK says and sit and wait for the final outcome. Then the whiners can whine and the Winners will gloat.

And oh by the way... GO CANADA!!!!!!!!!!!
