D-Link DI-604.. any way to cap users upload/download speeds?

im sharing internet with a bunch of friends
is there anyway to cap users upload or download speeds with the router?

don't know about the router but you can install NetLimiter on a single PC and limit their upload/download speed, it has a free trial I think

i hate this router
how can it win so many awards..
i just want to see traffic stats (All it tells me is total packets send/received on all computers combined) or cap speeds

You're not going to find that feature in any *consumer* grade router.

DLINK routers are awesome and their tech support / warranty is superb... BUT if you need to limit bandwidth/traffic you should've gotten a Linksys WRTG54. I think there is a custom firmware that'll let you play with bandwidth/traffic.
