				DVD experts: what the fuck is "WIDESCREEN" format ?
			 i have a widescreen TV that has a 16:9 aspect screen ratio. but when i buy "widescreen" DVDs, i stll get black, cut-off margins on top and bottom. wtf ? |

				 | widescreen is what we use to watch movies of your momma. :P Aspect ratios are listed on the DVD cases. not all movies are filmed in 16x9, they vary. Its a big pain in the ass and much like anything to do with eletronics everyone does their own thing and gives a juicy middle finger to the end user.
