In terms of statements, that has to be one of the most ridiculous things I've heard in years, but because he's a liberal pawn he gets away with it. What if The president said that or Rush Limbaugh, or Hannity etc..etc...etc..

New Orleans is 2/3 black and the 9th poorest city in the nation...now consider that the 150,000 or so that couldn't or didn't evacuate were mostly 'so' poor and 'so' black.

you are taking the statement and putting it in a context that fits your argument. This isn't foxnews...people can actually call you out on it. To me, he's saying the visual image of the new orleans disaster is 'so black', meaning very black. Which it is.

He didn't pick out a random african-american from the crowd and say, 'damn, that bitch is so black!" That's the context you are trying to place his comments in. Too bad for you everyone here isn't as dumb as you would like them to be.
