Thieves will join a site, rip the content, and sell it. It happens all the time, unfortunately, but if you own the copyright send ebay your dmca notice and they'll nix the auction and the guy's account. The sad thing is, he'll just start a new one and do it gain.

You'd be better off posing as a customer. Get into contact with him and figure out who he is. Then you can really take care of business.
