WASHINGTON (CNN) -- House hearings examining the federal government's response to Hurricane Katrina were abruptly canceled by House Republican leaders who prefer an unspecified review by a joint House-Senate panel, House Majority Leader Tom DeLay said Tuesday. Rep.
