i live in a country/suburb. we have corn fields all around us. not only is corn on the cob REALLY cheap (10 cents per cob), its so sweet & good :thumbsup

In 2003 Red Lobster ran the all u can eat crab leg deal. It was $20. Six months go by and the earnings for Darden Restaurants (the mother ship who also runs Olive Garden and like 4 other chains), come out and their numbers are way down. All fingers point towards an 8 figure loss the Red Lobster division lost because they misjudged how much people would eat. The CFO of Red Lobster or maybe it was the CEO, I cant remember, was shortly thereafter fired because of this promotion gone awry.

With folks trying to down 300+ shrimp its no wonder.

Remember I ate 53 reorders to set a new record... I was in good eating shape then I'd prob push hard to get 22 down now.

I am 6 feet tall and 150 pounds. :)

Also remember that it took 4 hours to bring 10 shrimp at a time regardless of ordering batches in advance. I'll probably head there today if I have a few hours to spare for dinner time :)

My favorite is the King Neptune, but I will eat anything at Red Lobster!

From my understanding its on now. Not sure when it ends. Will be there in about an hour, can't wait. Probably won't eat 300 tonight though as I am going with a group of people and don't want to keep them waiting but 150-200 won't be an issue

Now in our area, the only option of all you can eat crablegs is at the asian buffet, and they are not that good. Soggy and a ton of hollow legs!

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, gfy'ers of all ages, we have a new world record of 311 shrimp eaten at red lobsters endless shrimp fest.

They brought them much faster this time so once the other guys were full I was able to get 40 at a time without making them wait long. I am not even full, only satisfied but sick of the taste of garlic shrimp, for a couple days ofcourse :)
