Um, yeah, right.
What your author fails to mention is that the acquiring BANKS set AND hold the reserve amount. For 180 days. So I'd say that anyone getting their money in 90 days is pretty lucky. The so-called service isn't sitting around counting your change while you don't have it. It's a pass thru charge for the 'service', one that they are not exempt from. If you use your own merchant account, you know where the reserve is, who keeps it, and why they hold it. |
