Paying For Signatures
The board is overrun by signatures - so much so that it really distracts from the paying advertisers. They're an eyesore, people don't follow the size restrictions, post whore and generally slow the board down considerably.
Should Lensman charge for the average webmaster (meaning non-sponsorers of this board) for the ability to add a signature to your post? Nothing outrageous - something like
Let's face it - if you're signature spot isn't generating the revenue to cover the costs of the signature - you really shouldn't be slowing down the board and distracting from paying sponsors to show one. Perhaps not even as a revenue generation opportunity for the board... perhaps put the money generated into a "fund" that goes to donating to disaster relief efforts or some other worthwhile cause. |
