You know what? Snagging all those urls to catch SE hits might be more of a noob mistake than anything else. When you don't know what you're doing and don't know everyone personally, if might even look like a common practice. This industry isn't really known for taking the high road. I've seen this one lots of times before. It's very similar to the guy that uses "public domain" content to build a paysite. Stupid? yes. But who here didn't make some bonehead mistakes when they were new? I know I had my share. Just a thought.

A pro would have made that page only visible to the Search engine spider. It would have been able to see it , no one else would have been.

For those of you that know me, I tend to be pretty diplomatic on the boards.

But SIMON, you are the ONLY person I can think of who I would say bad things about on a business level. You provided extremely poor content, and extremely poor service.

I should have learned my lesson.

Nearly a year later, when I PAID an upgrade fee for fixed versions of the UNUSABLE content I already bought, you sent me a batch of 50 unlabeled CDs. When I finally started to look at them, 40% had sound issues.

I asked for a return on my "upgrade" fee, and you badmouthed me and accused me of being down on my luck and trying to squeeze you for $100.

Argue with a nobody like you for $100? I let it drop.

As it stands, I still have 50 unmarked, virtually unusable CDs of content...that I've paid for twice.

Truthfully, I would be wary of ANYone who stood in your corner.
