Y'know the answer to what our government and world affairs are really like is simple.

I worked in news and politics for years. I've heard and seen it all. You would be stunned to know what's said behind closed doors especially at private clubs.

They sound just like GFY. No bullshit. They sound just like GFY.

Behind the doors of the big political groups they call people hahahahahaha and chink etc. and don't give a shit that they do. You either agree with them or you don't get any money.

The black politicians do the same thing. So do the Chinese, Hindu, etc.

When the windows are shut and the curtains pulled, our best of society act like a bunch of chimps on crack.

That's the real deal like it or not.

Don't believe me? Just check with the police who get the wiretaps. Matter of fact just listen to the Nixon tapes. They're worse cussin' than ten days on GFY.
When we had to do FOI Freedom of Information ACT file gathering, there were more cuss words and racial slurs from cops, politicians, actors, heads of state than you can shake a stick at.

They're all full of more shit than a constipated elephant believe you me.

Maybe one day you'll tell me how the overturning of Roe v. Wade will effect people in conservative states where 98% of counties don't have a provider. How overturning Roe v. Wade would effect anything for that matter....

Maybe you can tell me why the conservatives are working so hard to get it overturned if it isn't going effect anything.

Who gives a fuck? -- The people in Rwanda and Bosnia were not Americans...so, it's not really our problem.

If that hurricaine was headed at Santa Monica -- the response would be a lot different.

This is Bush's (no pun indended) Waterloo.

We did stand back "while the Nazis slaughtered the Jews" -- the U.S. entered WWII as a result of Japan's strike a Pearl Harbor.

Obviously you ARE a moron, since you voted for Bush and seem to spend all your time trying to convince us he's a president on par with Washington or Lincoln. Both of whom modern conservatives would have hated.

If George Bush hadn't been in office 9-11 wouldn't have happened, gas wouldn't 5.00/gallon, 10,000 people wouldn't have died in New Orleans, we wouldn't have spent tens of billions of dollars 'bringing democracy' to a degenerate culture, and no American soldiers would have died in Iraq.

well said

though i dont think you can convince bush supporters, theyre all blind sheep

The blame needs to go to the mayor and the governor. Other then those local govs failures with the short term provisions, what are peoples beefs, especially with the fed gov.

Prior to 9-11 it was policy that jet fighters escort deviated planes back on course, it had been executed several times that year. Despite being off course for a extremely long time, no planes were ever deployed.

I'm sure after the first suicide bombing by a deviated plane and knowing there was at least 2 more in the air way off course, had fighter jets been deployed like they were supposed to they could've figured it out. The problem was no one acted, it seemed like it was just "Oh, we'll sort it out later" by the few in the chain of command that should've executed some orders.

If it weren't for Cheney, Bush probably would've been sitting there reading that book until the school day ended. Like a fucking deer in headlights...

Greg B 09-06-2005 10:02 AM

No, during 9-11 it was nothing more complicated than the night prior, "Monday Night Football" was on. 90% of the jock headed cops and military were still hungover and searching for their betting winnings.

Same with Katrina.

Greg B 09-06-2005 10:03 AM

Yet dig it boys,

For the second time in four years, everything that could go wrong did go wrong. If the government isn't serving the people who is it serving? I'll bet the Israeli government and the Saudi government got top dish treatment while people on the gulf coast were fleeing for their lives.

Godwin's law (also Godwin's rule of Nazi analogies) is an adage in Internet culture that was originated by Mike Godwin in 1990. The law states that:

As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1.
There is a tradition in many Usenet newsgroups that once such a comparison is made, the thread is over, and whoever mentioned the Nazis has automatically lost whatever argument was in progress. Godwin's law thus practically guarantees the existence of an upper bound on thread length in those groups. Many people understand Godwin's law to mean this, although (as is clear from the statement of the law above) this is not the original formulation.

It is considered poor form to arbitrarily raise such a comparison with the motive of ending the thread. There is a widely-recognized codicil that any such deliberate invocation of Godwin's law will be unsuccessful. See Quirk's exception below.

I can't help but think that if the democrats were in power for Katrina -- the Republicans would not have cleaned their clock for it by now. The Democrats need to get better with the mud-slinging, Bush has given them 3 perfect examples:

1. 9/11
2. Iraq
3. Katrina

All of which have been dealt with the utmost of incompitence.

The Republicans would have jumped all over these misfortunes and blamed them on the opisition. Maybe that's why these evil men are still in power.

back to Hotel Rwanda for a sec...

...the mess there was partly a Dutch responsibility. They were the ones who had originally played divide and conquer games there, in order to enflame the hatred between the two sides.

At least Clinton and Gore didn't own stock in oil companies.

If Gore had been president we might have started to explore alternative energy solutions instead of invading Iraq for their oil.

What??? Gore was BORN into a huge Oil family. He owns oil stocks that go back further than most modern technology.

As for alternate energy sources, forget it. It ain't gonna happen. I know, I've worked in that area for over a decade and there's NO money to develope the technology and any inventor who does try to break the mold gets MURDERED or bought out.

Heck, just last year or so Dr. Malave got bumped off on his front lawn. One of the foremost in new energy technology.

Same with medical industry. If you're a microbiologist you're as good as dead. They've been bumping off microbiologists like they were crackheads.

Oil or no oil - we pay a lot more attention when the "genocide" is going on in an oil rich country --- they are the people that truely need to taste the sweet fruit of freedom!
