Hangovers have the same symptoms and cures as dehydration.

Vitamin B12 and an oxygen tank if you have access to one.

However, simply drinking a lot of water while drinking and before you go to bed will help out a lot.

Ok, i agree that the best way is prevention...drink good shit and you wont get very hung over.

NOW....for those of you who in spite of this have your 40 of Colt 45 in your right hand as we speak, i have a good remedy for tomorrow morning. It will sound weird...

1st off, ya gotta get up and try to get toxins out. Take a piss, take a shit, jack off, sit in your steam room, sauna...go for a 10 minute run (doable)....whatever floats your boat...but get that shit out of your system

Thats step one

Step 2:

Get yourself a big gatorade...Chicken Broth, and some lemon grass...

Drink the gatorade and cook the chicken broth with lemon grass in it...let it blend for about 10-15 min. Drink that...

good as new in an hour

That's nonsense. A hangover is caused by dehydration. Alcohol supresses the production of an anti-diuretic hormone that basically controls the body's water usage. Essentially, your body just keeps losing fluid through urine, whether it needs to or not. Once you run out of excess, it starts taking water from your vital organs, including the brain. This causes your brain to shrink and is what causes the headaches. It doesn't matter what alcohol you drink, if you drink enough, you'll get a hangover unless you adequatly hydrate yourself during and after drinking.

A glass of water between every few drinks and some more before you go to bed will work wonders.

Thanks for all the replies. I did the water & forgot to do the Vitamin complex. I ate. The real answer is mix the water as you go and don't drink as much. That I knew, but you see my brain was getting smaller and... well you get the point.

Some how the dog is so appropriate cause I'm sure s/he feels better than I did.

When you get home puke, even if you don't have to. Then drink as much water as you can handle. Pop 2 aspirin and pass out.

If still hung, in the morning eat greasy food like bacon/eggs with buttered toast. More aspirin/water then pass out again.

If you still feel like hell only God can help you now.

The best cure is prevention of course. A glass of water between each drink if you can remember to do that (easier said than done). If I forget, which I often do, I have found a BC powder for the headache and a red beer (tomato juice or Clamato and beer) to take the edge off seem to work to speed recovery up.
