Why do you want it shot HDV , its not necessary for porn or the internet when most are on dial up.

I heard it is a better picture and screen shot

I still will not buy HD material.

Don't worry man, I pick on a lot of the idiots around here. You are not alone so don't flatter yourself.

I understand that everyone talks about HD these days like it is some sort of great thing.

But unless the viewer has an HD screen or television. It won't make any differnce to them what you filmed it in. And MOST people still do not posses these things.

Furthermore once you scale the resolution for the Internet, magazines prints, etc. Any gains you might have gotten from HD are lost.

What you need is a good photography and videographer. It doesn't matter how great your equipment is, if you still can't point the camera in the right place your product is shit.

Think of it like this....

You might own a high powered race car. But unless you know how to drive a race car. If Mario Andretti was driving an old station wagon he would still beat the pants off you in a race.

Ok for the prices....

It depends on where you are. In france I pay only $300 for an internet shoot. And good luck getting the girls here to go condomless. If you don't keep the girl more than 3 or 4 hours. That should be enough.

Try to film them towards the end of the month or the begining when rent is due.

As for Canada....
As long as you aren't in Montreal, stay clear of the teen market and only are filming POV blow jobs. Don't offer to pay them a dime.

Instead, put an ad in a newspaper, rent a nice hotel room and make it a casting call. If you see enough girls in a day. Sooner or later one will go down on you and if you get even more... great. Just smile and thank her and tell her you will call her for work real soon.

And at the very least if you don't get a damn thing in the day you did some marketing and sooner or later it will come lead to something. It's amazing how word and business cards get around.

As for Los Angeles....
Just put the word out you are paying cash. There were guys like Charlie Biggs that got away with paying the girls $200 to $400 a scene. It is such a big industry down there that sooner or later someone will be desperate for the money.
