    Saints Owner Tom Benson A Class Act....... NOT!

    According to a high ranking official in the New Orleans Saints organization who has contacted local NO media outlets Saints owner Tom Benson will announce today or tomorrow that the Saints will play their home games out of San Antonio Texas - and worse - TICKET HOLDERS, SEASONS AND INDIVIDUAL GAME TICKET HOLDERS WILL NOT BE REFUNDED!

    what a dirtbag - the Saints as well as the college teams down there are part of the fabric of Lousianna - something people can hold on to and get some respite from over the trying months ahead as the area recovers and rebuilds.
    There are stadiums in Lousianna the Saints could play out of - Baton Rouge for one.

    he better change his mind quick - unless he wants to go down in history as a piece of shit who fucked the people of New Orleans in the ass when they were literally helpless.

      Fucking Guy- two sides here. Either sensitive/piece of shit if he leaves. OR -- Non-sympathetic, inhumane money monger who continues to charge "NO" people for tickets. "Who cares about football season at a time like this." rah rah cheerleeders.

          I read an article yesterday about that. I think they said Batton Rouge was being used to house people and no other place around NO was able to do it.
          The owner of the Saints has a house and some "ties" to San Antonio, so that's why he wants to play there.
          L.A. also offered to let them play there rent free for the year.

              Tom Benson has bigtime roots in San Antonio, this is where he made his money to buy the saints ... from huge car dealerships.
              He also knows (and rallied to build) the Alamodome was built to lure a major sports franchise.

              He and Red McCombs (another car dealership owner) and owner of the Vikings spearheaded the campaign to get it built years ago. Lots of backdoor deals in there too.

              He needs to refund those that request it
              If at first you do succeed - try to hide your astonishment.

                  Benson has been trying to extort a better stadium deal for years. The Saints will be out of New Orleans soon. He should refund the money, but he won't until he gets sued.

                  McCombs sold the Vikings.

                                  Better yet. Don't refund the ticket holders..let the ticket holders STFU. Both sides, the owner and the ticket holders could donate the proceeds.

                                          They destroyed that Dome...

                                          You can not even imagine the smell of that place...

                                                  no, actually the saints cant play here (baton rouge)... yet. Renovations on Tiger Stadium aren't finished yet at LSU. I suppose they could use the Cajun Dome. Fucked up theyre not refunding, i'd be pissed and wouldn't renew. Lord knows why anyone has season tickets to the saints anyway
