Nov. 21st, 2005 - 10:15am - Its been an overall good weekend. There are some days she feels better but still somedays that she doesn't feel so great. With a head injury, it takes awhile for someone to recover. Just like when you brake a bone, it takes 6-8 weeks to recover. Well, a head trama is just as long if not longer. She'll have another ct scan next week to see how the brain is healing. I'm also hoping I can get her to make a statment sometime this week. Its not good for her to be on a computer and looking at a monitor, so I'll try to get her to tell me what she wants said and then I'll type it out. But all in all, she is slowly getting better. I'll try to get something from her in the next few days. And a special thanks to those of you that sent flowers, cards, donations and wishes. You people are great and its nice to know that people care about people.icq 1904905Comment

Pretty much at contract renewl time is correct for most all HMO's, etc. Some private insurance coverage have different rules depending on the company and state laws where you reside.
We deal with this crap every january when our companies Kaiser HMO is up for renewl. It seems to go up every year for everyone in our company and well most others too i suppose.
Me, the mrs, and 5 kids is like $1200+ per month. but what can you do, when you have kids - you gotta have insurance.. Kaiser is ok, 5.00 co pay visits, 10.00 drugs, Most any surgery - even open heart is like 10-100.00
