didn't you thought that you'll be millionaire at your current age?

That's actually one of my reasons of concern

I'm currently thinking that I'll be millonaire at age of 40 (29 now)...

If I failed my prediction before, why I have to believe in the current one..?

Please, I'd like to read your comments.. (not too hard please )

It's not enough just to want it. You need a workable plan and you need to stick with it.

Well, when I was 18-20 I was always hoping to make my first million by 25. But as that age came and went, I started realizing the monetary balance in your bank isn't as important as your friends and family. I try not to worry so much about how much money I have but consider the intagible things in life to be worth much more.

Here was my 10 year goal in 1996 when I started our first site

in 2006 I promise to be

Without bills
Living in a nice warm place
Own a nice Bike
Have a house with a pool
Income without work

It is 2005 and the internet was good to me. I have established my goal. I am not a millionare, I don't live in a mansion. I can't go out and spend 100k on a sportscar, but I am happy, no bills, live in a nice house and have the toys I want, travel when I like and my family and I are healthy, what more could I ask for?

Actually it is ... race agaisn't time ... it's possible to get rich at any age ... but the younger you start, the most success chances you have ...

All you gotta do is be at the right place right time, have the right ideas ... and the most important thing : Work hard and don't waste your money

I never really set a goal to be a millionaire. My first goal when I started in this biz was to make 2k/month.. did that.. then my goal was to make 5k/month.. did that.. now my goal is to make 10k/month and when I reach that I'll set the goal higher.

Perfect timing on this thread!

I'll be 30 in 2 weeks and when i turned 20 I set the goal of being worth 10 million by the time I hit 30. I'm less than 2 weeks away to make my goal. Always trying to do business above my level of ability kept me away from hitting my 30 year old goal, however, tonight I actually made a new goal of 20 million by 40 years old. Knowing what I know now and seeing what I have seen I should not have a problem with that. A decade of reality and 'on the job training' I have learned that plans change and only the prepared survive and I have learned not to get into things that give you a bad feeling from the begining.

I know that in 10 years I can post a thread saying that I hit my 20 million goal.

I was hoping to be a millionaire by age 23. Im 23 now and still not a millionaire. So, I am some what dissapointed in myself because I passed on several oppportunities that would have definately made me a millionaire a few times over. I didn't take those risks/investments because I was too scared to lose my savings. But, I look back and realize I learned an invaulable lesson - you HAVE to take chances.

I have reached a lot of my goals in life earlier than I expected (not bragging just being honest). I'm coming up to my 30th birthday and am very happy with how my life has gone so far... On my 30th I will come up with a whole new set of goals i want to achieve by 40, hopefully with hard work and some help from my family and friends I can achieve them.

This is a good thread. Very few people fall into a million dollars. It helps to have a plan in addition to the goal. It is also a good idea to set 1, 3 and 5 year goals so that you can see how close to the track you are at different points. To be 29 and 900k off the mark is not really the way it works.

Congrats steffie, that sounds like a nice lifetsyle
