Did anybody else watch The Daily Show last night?

So Jon Stewart is doing his thing and talking about the hurricane. On the blue screen behind him is a map of the U.S. I noticed that the shape of the U.S. had changed. All of a sudden the Gulf of Mexico had gotten bigger and we were missing some states.

Poor taste? Perhaps, but it is The Daily Show after all.

I saw that, but it was on the new Bill Maher show...not the Daily Show.

I kept waiting for his skit on that, but it never showed up.

ayup, pretty amusing.
Daily Show is better than SNL.

And I'm a Republican.

Shit, you're right. My bad.

I usually catch The Daily Show but I watched Bill Maher at my neighbors place last night.

Dammit.. my DVR from the cable company didn't record it - my Tivo never missed a show. I hate this thing.

I should get it on Monday.. I love that show!

I get them confused sometimes too, both are funny as hell and have some good sarcastic humor.

Occasion Bill overlooks the 'appropriate line' but that's his deal I guess. I fully remember that map and it was killing me he didn't mention shit about it or do a skit on it. I'm guessing the editors/producers of the show scrated that for obvious reasons. While kids and old people are dying from thirst & hunger in the US is probably NOT the best time to roll out Maher style jokes on the topic.

That was the first time I have watched this new show of his. I was waiting for him to mention it too. And yeah, the producers probably thought better of doing that.
