				 | Army Colonel I worked with wouldn't touch tap water. He'd spend tons of money on bottled water instead. I wondered what he thought or had seen, that made him not trust tap water.

				 | Well to just throw out some facts most people don't know about bottled water. Bottled Water is controlled and regulated by the F.D.A.. From the beginning they have had little to no restrictions on bottled water. Tap water is controlled and regulated by the government (even though I'm fed up with them at the moment). They have much better regulations on tap water. There isn't much which is allowed into tap water. Believe it or not bottled water is much more dangerous than tap water. And 99% of all your bottled water is made here in the states at refineries in Ohio and Mississippi. All of which take ordinary water and put it into bottles. Your not getting so called "glacier/spring/mountain/etc" water. It's just a marketing technique. People who drink bottled water because they think it's cleaner and safer than tap water need to get their facts straight. With all this said. I drink bottled water & I drink whatever is the cheapest when I'm at the store (right now I have arrowhead). I drink bottled water because it's convienent.

				 | I find it interesting though that there have been some studies in regards to children and having more cavities from drinking bottled water because of the lack of fluoride compared to tap water. INTERESTING

				 | I got in the habit when I lived in LA. The difference in taste is subtle, but it's there. Just make sure you get water that says 'spring water' or 'bottled at the source' on the label, otherwise you might be buying purified tap water. Aquafina is tap water, so is Dasani, they're owned by coke and pepsi. |

				 | I DO believe tap water is safe, but I also know that Los Angeles tap water tastes funky as hell. Vegas water is better but now I have a water guy that comes and brings in jugs every month and we have dispensers all around the house. It's cold, it tastes good, it's just easier. |

				 | bottled water is a scam.. it's all fucking tap water.. they just boil the shit in a few steps, filter it in some cases, cool it, bottle it and sell it as "pure spring water". They sure have a lot of people falling for their shit.
