Just got word our city ( killeen texas .. 500 miles away from N.O ) is accepting 2,000 victims of the hurricane. We have already received 500.

Listening to the scanner today and hearing all the calls to the convention center is just startling. Alot of elderly dieing even once they are out. The damage seems to be done.

They are flying more into the airport here in a few hours. I think 100 at a time.

I should go donate some time at the convention center to help distribute food.

I dont know what harmon ment by his post but I am going to have my video camera aswell as a camera if I am able to help.

I want to document as much as I can aswell for my own keeping.

My first hand exp. with it all.

I dont know if I have lost fmaily in this or not. They are still not counted for. This even will be in history books.

When you are in your 40's and your daughter or son ask you " daddy do you know anything about when N.O Go owned ? "

You will be able to say yes and show waht you know....
