Dreamweaver / XP

I've been trying to install Dreamweaver MX (I think it's version 6)
on a new PC with Windows XP and service pack 1

Install goes seamlessly, but when I launch the program for the fiirst time
it hangs..... and I get a "program not respondind" comment in task manager
if I go looking in there for issues....

Same CDs of dreamweaver always installed and operated perfectly in
win2000 and even on winNT.

No real answers looking around support sites and support boards...
The PC is "clean" with very little if anything else installed yet.

Anyone else have any issues with Dreamweaver / XP installs????

And there are many idiots that say "XP" is the most stable operating system made.

NOT!

I use win2000. XP hangs at least 3 times a day for me. Regardless of what I use.

i've experienced that too everytime i install/re-install dreamweaver on my win xp. nothing is wrong with it, just wait for a few minutes and it will run fine. the first loading after u have installed it is the shitty part.

win2k sucks ass. I hate that damn OS almost as much as WinME. Win2k sucks for troubleshooting and often have to reinstall the whole damn thing on customers machines.

But anyways I've never had a prob with my Dreamweaver and XP. Are you installing off original cd's or burned ones.
