Hey there,

Anybody here that knows his/her way around Sony Vegas 6b?
I am running into some problems trying to add text to a video and would really appreciate some help from somebody who knows this software.

At the bottom, click on MEDIA GENERATORS, then TEXT. Choose the type and style you want, then drag to the timeline.

When I try this my video gets darker. The video was shot at night and it is hard to see anything at all allready. Do you have any idea what might cause this?
Also the text only remains for 5 seconds. It should last for 45 seconds. There is a field where I can change this manually but it does not seem to have any effect.....?

Choose the type and style you want, then drag to the timeline. __________________ SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
