New webhost needed for high-traffic / many servers

We are looking to find a new datacenter to house and supply support for our companies internet operations. Currently we are located in Los Angeles but will consider moving to any location that can provide superior redundant connectivity, top-notch responsiveness, and a willingness to help us transition into new space.

We require a full rack, A block of IP addresses, 60 amps of power to rack with PDU, 100 mbps of blended bandwidth on a gig-drop for future growth, on-site personal available for installation of equipment into the rack. We will require on-going remote hands that can be made available at a moments notice in the event of an emergency to perform tasks including power-cycling, drive-failure replacement, installation of memory, and hooking up a console to troubleshoot failures in the event that an SSH session can not be established from the outside.

We will commit to 100mbps of bandwidth, but will require a ramp-up period. Ideally, we will sign a 1 year contract that commences no later than 60 days after the start of our migration or as soon as migration has fully occurred. During this ramp-up period we will pay for actual bandwidth usage. We will, of course, pay the normal monthly fees for support, rackspace, etc during the migration.

We have a plan put together that will allow us to maintain continuity of our business during the migration. As we ship these servers, we will require help in receiving the equipment, racking it, and provision of DNS services. We will also need to rent/borrow a load balancer which is the only piece of equipment that we can not duplicate for continuity until our own server iron arrives.

Here are the actual logistics of moving equipment.

Phase One ? First Website transition
Move (1) Dell Poweredge 1750 and (1) Dell Powervault 220s 4TB array to new datacenter.
Estimated bandwidth usage after bringing up live ? up to 40 mbps during daily peak

Phase Two ? Second Website transition
Need Loadbalancer available (3 load balanced servers)
Need Gig Switch available for use for backend (internal) traffic
Move (1) Dell Poweredge 2850 (NFS Server), (1) Dell 1750 (MYSQL Server). (3) Aberdeen Stirling S17 1U servers (load-balanced front-end web servers) to new datacenter.
Estimated bandwidth usage after bring up live ? up to15 mbps during daily peak

Phase Three ? Restore Second Website (from phase 2) to original Equipment
Move (1) Dell 1750, (1) Dell 2850, (2) Dell 1850, (1) Foundary ServerIron, (1) SMC gigabit switch, (1) Cisco Switch to new datacenter.

Phase Four ? Final Equipment Arrives
Move (1) Dell 1650, (1) Aberdeen, and Jetstor III IDE storage array.
Phase Five ? Finalization and reallocation or equipment and resources to restore all websites (around 100 properties).

There is much more detail available in the plan, but this hopefully provides some indication of the commitment involved and the general flow of equipment.

We welcome any serious bids by any company that is interested in earning this business. We have been with our current webhost since 1998, but have outgrown their capacity to meet our needs. Their services are no longer adequate for our needs which has led to recent service outages with no ability to resolve in a timely manner.

We look forward to building a long-term relationship with a top tier provider.

Thanks!

Make sure to take a look at what www.RealityCheckNetwork.com can offer you, in addition to having a lot of experience with clustered solutions, we just opened our 2nd data center in Amsterdam, Netherlands. This allows us to offer globally load balanced solutions, but the main benefit here is an always on architecture that employs active disaster recovery functionality.

Please contact me on ICQ: 4930562 or you can call me directly to discuss: (347) 729 - 3345

I feel we are a very good fit for your business, due to our extensive technical knowledge, always available 24/7 support team located throughout several time zones, on site hands for hardware troubleshooting, replacement parts, *ONLY* DELL PowerEdge servers and a long track history of uptime as well as many major clients rely on us for all of their hosting needs.

Thanks

WOW I was not expecting this much information in a "looking for a webhost" thread, usually all threads of that nature are short and simple but you sound like you know exactly what you need which shows 1- you know what your doing and 2- how serious you are about your online business

While reading all your requirements the first thing that poped up in my mind was Isprime (www.isprime.com) hit up their support ICQ (136663378) and I gurantee you will be amazed by the ideas the guys over there have for clients both big and small.

Are you avaliable on ICQ?

100Mbps? Not really worth giving a discout at that rate.

Good luck, though.
