Temptation Island 3 - Tampa - Cancelled

We regret to inform you that the island party is cancelled.
The state got wind of the "adult" nature of the party and
did everything in its power to shut it down. We were notified
by the water taxi company, that the state threatened them with
a $10,000 fine for damaging the seagrass around the island,
if they were to transport our group.

The island is privately owned, but apparently the "seagrass" is
is owned by the state.

Our sincere apologies if you have planned on coming to this event. We are enacting a backup plan for those who have booked rooms and flights allready.... please contact us, and we will still make sure you have a good time.

Its labor day weekened...

there are still going to be a ton of boats out there,
there is always a ton of boats out there....

they just wont have anyone to clean up the trash now.

un real...i had a feeling something was going to happen. FUCK!! cant even have a party without the LAW coming down.
I thought the authorities would let it happen and then swarm....damn it
I guess its better then getting busted in midstream....i feel bad for you guys
you busted ass to make this happen....need to reorganize something

Well, like i said.... there will still be alot of boats out there this weekend.... and the same articles about the beer and the trash will be printed in the local newspaper, but this time, we had a crew to clean it up.....but, now the trash will be left there this year again.

we even opted last night, to make all the profits from the boat, go to hurricane victim releif, and eat our costs on renting the boat, and some of the guys who where organizing it...had it on their website, all day.... that all proceeds were going to go to hurricane releif.

But the state made the phone calls today and threatened the boat company to not do business with us.

heres a link to the page, that was advertising the party as a hurricane relief party.......we decided to donate all the money collected from the boat to the red cross.....

But the state of florida decided that they would rather have trash left on the island, from the obviuos many boaters that will be there anyways, and not let us donate the money from the boat to hurricane releif.

As i siad before, the state called our boat company and told them they would be fined $10,000 for transporting people to a private island.

yes, I am seriuos....

There is going to be a ton of boats out on that island.....there always is, every memorial day, 4th of July, and Labor Day.

but someone, somewhere made a phone call to the right people, and brought the heat on us.

We were called by the boat company today......and were told by a lady, that they were calling to confirm sundays boat rental. She told us, that were going to be providing soda, and water to our passengers at no extra price.

She called back 20 mintes later saying she was sorry, she had to tell us she coulndt rent the boat to us. She said she received a call from the same guy, from the DEP, thats been emailing us all week asking questions. They threatened them with a $10,000 fine for damaging the seagrass. She told us sorry, and they were going to have to refund your money.

This same DEP guy has been emailing all week, asking questions....trying to act like he was wanting to see if there were any permits that we were going to need.

Once he found out the party, was on a private island, not owned by the state, they started asking questions about the boat.

They obviuosly did their research, becuase somehow they found out what company we were using as a water taxi, and made a call today, and that was that.

Yesterday, we received a letter warning us of a $10,000 fine for damaging the seagrass.

The email conversations, and the questions they were asking.... it was clear they where deteremined to find a way to shut down anything "adult" happening on a private island...... by scaring our tour operator with a "seagrass" violation.

stopped by the island on the way back from fishing...was going to get cleaned up and come back...at 2PM there was just a family and a few people...the coast guard was next too use...check out the island and left...no one showed later as I did a drive by....
