FYI: The Only reason gas prices are up now is because of AMERICANS ON WALL STREET

You're more right than you know. And it has nothing to do with OPEC, their leadership desperately wants to decrease the price of oil and is doing nearly everything in their power to accomplish it.
Why would they do that and cut their own profit potential? Fear of alternative fuel technology research being accelerated in Europe and the US via government backing which results in progress being made to get off the oil crack pipe. It's in their best interest to keep oil nice and cheap, and they're desperately trying to do just that. Right now it's more a combination of refinery output being too limited along with speculators riding the wave.
