ePassporte & Webmaster Support Fund for Hurricane Relief

Webmaster Support Fund for Hurricane Relief

OK people, it is time to step up and help those that can?t help themselves on the Gulf Coast, here in the USA. If you have seen the pictures it is hard to believe the devastation. I know many of us have incredible memories of New Orleans and other spots down South. Those memories and experiences are because of the PEOPLE there.

Now those people need the help of anyone that has a few dollars to spare ? and they need it fast. Those of us that are not affected have got to do what we can ? if we can. The death toll will rise, the homeless count will skyrocket and it will be months before there will even be potable water or basic services. Food and shelter are luxuries that are not available even if these poor people had money ? but The American Red Cross knows how to deliver relief, and fast, with funding.

To help address this crisis ePassporte along with Christian and RRRed have created the Webmaster Support Fund which will raise money to be donated to The America Red Cross through the Hurricane 2005 Relief Fund.

Donations may be made via ePassporte, with no transfer fee or costs charged by ePassporte by logging on to your ePassporte account at www.epassporte.com and following the prompts on the login page, or, by sending a Transfer to User Name: hurricanefund. You may also visit www.webmasters4america.com and donate there as well. If you have already donated using the ePassporte page, your account may have been charged a transfer fee; if so, that fee will be rebated ASAP.

To start this effort off ePassporte is donating $5,000. right now. We are asking our clients, friends, associates and everyone in the Webmaster Community to donate what you can, as fast as you can.

Your donations will be posted by ePassporte, unless you wish to remain anonymous. In this situation, we feel that it is best to at least let your peers know that you are donating, although you may want to keep the amount private.

Come on folks, we raised a ton for the Tsunami, now we need to show some love for New Orleans and the rest of the Gulf Coast!

C

PS: I am calling some folks out ? you know who you are so get ready boys and girls!

As always you are the first to step to the plate. This is a great offering and I hope that everyone will step forward and give what they can to this devastating tragedy.

If you can email me (make sure it is in Cliff note Version LOL) where I can wire my 5k to epassport I will get that off today.

Chris,

Thanks for bringing this to the masses.

The time is now people. The folks affected by this hurricane are going through a hell I doubt any of us could ever imagine. This community has always opened it's pockets in times of crisis and we must do it again.

As Chris mentioned, all transfer fee's will be reimbursed for ePassporte donations and all processing fee's will be absorbed by Jettis on any ACH donations. This means every cent you donate goes to the victims.

I'd also like to thank WEGCash for putting the donation site together in such short order. Stepping up to the plate as usual.

Last...Chris got the ball rolling and I'd like to keep it that way. 10K has just been donated from Jettis.

Keep it going....

John

Chris....what a FANTASTIC thing to do....pure class, as always.

Please allow me the priviledge of matching your donation of $5k. Just tell your people to get with my people and we will get it to you ASAP.

There is a special place in heaven for the people behind campaigns such as this.....you guys are people that I look up to everyday!!

Thank you Tony!

Oh so generous...as usual

John

Speachless! Thanks so much to all my freinds at Jettis.

We have, at the ePassporte donation site alone, almost $16,000 so far. A HUGE thanks to Tony Morgan, Ron Cadwell, RogerV, and all of you guys. Great job folks. Let's keep it going. We need a few bumps on this thread and we need Lensman to PIN US!

Chris,

Nice work getting the ball rolling on this. I hope everyone follows Chris's lead and digs deep to help out, whether it's $20 or $20k!

You can count on WebQuest for 10k.
