                                                    Yes, lets release the stategic reserve months ago, so when Katrina hit, we would have nothing more to release. It is put away for a reason -> emergencies. $3 at the pump is not an emergency.

                                                    Cap prices? This a free market economy, you want gas to really sky rocket? Cap the price. NO ONE WILL SELL IT AT A LOSS. How about you look at your own home state, and see how much they tax gasoline. Ask your state to remove the taxes they impose on the gas.
