The problem with weed, is when you are on it you do not realize how much of a negative drug it is. The lifestyle, paranoia, psychosis, and actions are so similar to Meth Heads on the ramp up, they mirror each other. Eventually the Meth user screams past the weed smoker, because of the carnage meth does, but the initial phases and responses are the same.

Chaze: the people would get the pot from their local clubs like the california laws now.. except for the lame ass loopholes like the "caregivers" cards that your local dealer can buy and legally sell pot with. And the weak and greedy doctors passing out cards to anybody that claims to have a need to use pot..If regulated properly there would be abuse as with all drugs or anything good, or pleasing to humans for that matter but that is humankind..but if u have to be 21 to drink alcohol which is agreed to be worse why not ban it alltogether?...shit they tried and prohibition failed..

Oh so sorry for not being a junkie like you. I mean since you are the drug "expert". So glad you are proud of you vast knowledge of illegal drugs. And yes in fact who in the fuck is going to smoke weed made by Phillip Morris? Are you? Who do you think is going to be allowed to grow and sell the shit if it ever became legal? Do you HONESTLY think that weed is going to be as "good" as the stuff you get now? Safer, yes. better? no.

pot makes the stupid stupider and the smart stay the same. meth fucks everyone up equally, alcohol the same thing. Pot should be used by people without the preimbedded neurological problems that would drag them down. Those who use it and lose brain cells or become idiots obviously should not use it..Calling all users junkies or addicts is just ignorant as well. Many use it for actual medical needs do you lump these subjects in the junkie catigory too?

uno 08-30-2005 07:14 PM

I've seen meth ruin more than a few lives. I've also seen people use it as responsible as it could have been used and had no problem quitting or using occasionally without being a crazy tweaking addict.

Unfortunately the latter is less often the case.

there will always be new labs to take their place

It's to easy to make and the money is to easy to make.

I was surprised to see how many people were willing to scrap up money for a 8ball on a tuesday afternoon

uh, yeah... they're going to engineer "safer" weed? :1orglaugh

Give me a break dude, you're posting about stuff that you obviously know nothing about. There's nothing wrong with using drugs, moderation is the key. I tried my fair share when I was younger and had a great time, I wouldn't trade that time for anything in the world. Calling someone a junkie just makes you sound like a 10 year old kid, or some bible thumping dork living in your parents basement bitching about and posting racist comments (other thread) about black people, drugs, and the evils of anything outside of the little box in which you choose to think.

Time to grow up.

They should legalize it and sell it like tobacco or liquor... no one should have the right to tell an adult what substances you can put into your own body, or what experiences you are allowed to have.

Drugs don't cause crime, drug prohibition does. What do you think would happen to all of those cracked out dealers if selling drugs was a legitimate business? They'll be put out of business, or at least they won't have a reason to carry guns anymore.

We all know laws don't stop people from trying drugs anyways, perhaps they should try educating people about things like drugs and sex instead of drawing a line and hoping that no one explores the other side.

When said substances can produce affects that cause a human to act in a way that dangers OTHER humans, your "right" to put whatever you want into your body goes out the window.

So we should make alcohol illegal?

Nothing makes more humans dangerous to other humans than alcohol.

Funny, I read the title as MATH houses..

Which reminds me of the geometry teacher who was arrested at the airport for carrying a compass, calculator and a slide rule.

He was charged with possession of weapons of math instruction.

Our puritan laws will one day collapse. All we can hope to do in the mean-time is undermine them at the very foundation every chance we get :thumbsup
