              i never understood what the point was in having appointments if you have to sit and wait every time... that seems more like first come first serve to me...

                          The best part is, when you DO actually turn up for an appointment 10mins late, they pretend that you would have got taken if you turned up on time...

                          Yet when you do make it on time, you ALWAYS have to wait for 30mins at least...

                                  That's why you always get either the first appointment in the morning, or the first one after the office's lunch break. Those are usually the only two appointments they're on time for.

                                  You can also sometimes call the receptionist or assistant and ask if the doctor is running on time. Often, my doctor's assistant will tell me to go ahead and come late if she's really far behind.

                                  Spend enough time at the doctor's office and you learn the tricks.
