I don't have time nor resources to fight and argue on this board about who lived in Louisiana, who beat up a tornado, whose ass has more hair.

I as a businessman need to know what the effects on the economy.

No I'm not a Scrooge and am ignoring the human toll. That's most important as they're customers.

It's a record breaking destructive natural event no doubt. What we need to do is analyze what happened, assess the damages, look at how we can do better preparation and recovery in the future.

Lots of lessons will be learned here. Books will have to be rewritten, new tools will need be invented.

Philosophically, it shows me the real deal about life. People bitch and complain about who is superior. Their race, religion, political viewpoint. But just like Hurricane Andrew all that shit is dust in the wind. Nature could give a fuck about what you are and what you believe. Only the smart and lucky survive and thrive.

Charity and kindness and sharp wits are what are needed now.

Hurricane season is only half over. No telling what's to come.
