                      It's called entertainment..

                      People that go up onto a stage to be 'hypnotized' do so to be entertainers.. where they can do things out of their norm, hiding behind the guise of hypnosis.

                      Nobody can be placed in hypnosis to the required depth to do those things by a 1, 2, 3 snap of the fingers.. and even when someone is in a cataleptic state, it isn't likely they would follow that command.

                      Contrary to popular belief, hypnosis doesn't create robots..

                                  haha.. I have seen a bunch 12-13yo kids being hypnotized... the entire audience.. The hypnotist told them that they were all naked... THe look of terror and embarrassment in some of their faces made it quite clear to those with a minimum of judgement that this was real... Not that many kids are Oscar caliber actors...

                                          Do you really think if that guy could do those types of things , he would still host a show? You all need to do some more research about hypnosis.
