Discuss what's fucking going on, and which programs are best and worst. One-time "program" announcements from "established" webmasters are allowed.

CreditCard fraud on ePassport . Question to their rep.

I need to make sure that money I'm gonna get from someone are clean and haven't been taken from some stolen CreditCard or shit like that .
Is it possible to check that out somehow ?

I doubt it's possible, even epass doesn't know it, if they did they wouldn't allow the transaction in the first place...

You can't really. If you had some reason to suspect fraud i suppose they might look into it.

This kind of worries me about epassporte. Awhile ago there was some issues with some thief's starting up a webmaster program ( adult sponsor ) , but they were running stolen credit cards through their own program ( i guess using legit webmasters to make the fraud not look so noticeable ). When epassporte caught up to them , they canned the company from epassporte , but they also canned every webmasters epassporte account that used that company ( guilt by association ).

Like one guy had sent a little traffic to the program got a small epassporte payment fromt he sponsor , then he got more money from someone else ( nothing to do with the sponsor ) and they basically canned his account and took the money..

*btw this is only hearsay ( and second hand hearsay ) i just read about it on gfy , but it worried me nonetheless

We use Paycom as a Gateway and their Frad Prevention and Risk Management is excellent. There is no guarantee that ca rd is not stolen at the time of use, however, we have our authentication process layered onto Paycom's risk model.

I hope this helps.

I realize that epass runs a tight ship from a fraud standpoint, but they give vendors less info about transactions than a standard credit card processor gives. And, the more info I have, the better decision I can make on whether to accept a transaction or not.

For example, with an epass transaction I have no idea what the purchasers address, country, IP, phone number or even real name is. I get all of this info from my CC processor. For this reason, we treat all epass transactions very carefully, especially first time purchases.
