Evacuation routes to the north on I-55 - the lastest info we're getting up here is that most hotels/motels in Jackson are full. Might be best to turn west on I20 and head towards Vicksburg although last I checked most hotels there are full as well - If you keep going west there are rooms available
Also all rental car places are sold out in New Orleans from the last word

Adams:Natchez - to get there - take 98 west off of I 55 - you'll see plenty of signs for it
