dEUS are a great art-rock band from belgium, and Zita swoon a side band that are just as cool that are great to listen to when stoned... heheh i had a friend vomit on mushrooms when i put a particularly fucked up zita swoon song on... it's slightly off beat and all fucked up.. heheheh...

sigur ros are fucking cool as if you want a more chilled and atmospheric stoned bliss...

i remember i got a mate pretty stoned and then played selected mr bungles 'california' (very beach boys influenced) alongside the a few beach boys 'petsounds' tunes and he couldn't tell the difference.. the layered production and california 'feel' on both albums is exquisite - if you don't believe me try it.. petsounds era brian is ace.. heheh he only had to seek therapy for the next 20 years for all the lsd he took lol.. theremin in a song? trust brian to do it first.

speaking of theremin .. im going to see mercury rev in a week or two..

also the new air video clip - at least i think it was air... with the computer voice monologue over top of their music.. the fucking cinematography is all out the best i've seen in at least the last 6 months.. made to be watched stoned.. (even though i only realy drink nowadays)
